As spotted on Amazon UK, the listing has 2011’s Wii title listed for Nintendo’s hybrid platform. A release date hasn’t been mentioned, but the title has been listed with a £69.99 price tag, which converts to roughly $90USD and €70.
Keep in mind that this new listing doesn’t confirm the existence of Skyward Sword for the Nintendo Switch, but it’s something to keep the hope alive. Out of all Zelda titles, Skyward Sword would probably be the least expected installment to make its way to the Switch due to only being playable with motion controls.
Meanwhile, Nintendo has officially stated in 2018, that there weren’t any plans to release Skyward Sword on the Nintendo Switch.
Joy-con drifting is the major problem Nintendo Switch users have being facing for long now. This issue brought a lawsuit back in 2019 which Nintendo is still facing. Till date fans are furiously complaining about the drifting issue.
Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa addressed the company’s ongoing problems with Joy-Con drift during a financial Q&A posted recently. Furukawa said the company apologizes for “any trouble caused to our customers,” noting that Nintendo is “continuing to aim to improve” its products.
Thanks to Kotaku who translated Furukawa’s statement.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers regarding Joy-Con controllers. We are continuing to improve our products, but currently Joy-Con is subject to a class-action lawsuit in the United States and is a pending issue so we cannot comment on any specific actions we may take.
We take great pride in creating quality products and we are continuously making improvements to them. We are aware of recent reports that some Joy-Con controllers are not responding correctly.
This appears to be the first official apology for the malfunctioning Joy-Cons and hopefully those promised improvements will come to the Switch’s Joy-Cons sooner or later.

Lately due to the pandemic going on it really affects Nintendo in someway, the company have not brought any news if there will be next-gen Switch version coming as Sony and Xbox plans or even host a big Nintendo Direct as usual.
During a recent shareholder meeting, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa insisted that Switch production was getting back up to speed despite supply chain disruptions earlier this year.
We could not manufacture (Switch) as planned until May but production has been largely recovering from June. We expect it to normalize around summer. […] We want to deliver (the console) to as many people as possible. We will improve the situation as soon as possible.
Surprisingly, Furukawa claims that the on-going pandemic hasn’t had any effect on the development of the games Nintendo plans to publish this year…
Currently, we do not see any impact on software set to go on sale this year, but there is a possibility that we cannot sell it as scheduled in the event of a second or third wave (of coronavirus infections.)
Words on the street has it Mario will be Nintendo’s focus this year, with remasters of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy, and a “deluxe” version of Super Mario 3D World in the works. With more rumored remasters, including Pikmin 3 Deluxe.
